Great teachers are those who help us take the journey to our own self. Answers to our questions are buried in us, waiting to be discovered. We walk million miles looking for answers, get tired and frustrated.
The great teachers have never told their disciples what the Truth is. They just showed the way to discover it on their own. For the experience of the inward journey is a part of the ultimate discovery of the Truth, the realization.
For the journey from ignorance to enlightenment can be illusive, confusing and way too frustrating. We need a direction from those who already have walked the path. As the Pole start, a teacher will only help us by showing the right way to discover, when we fumble, get confused. But we are to make mistakes, learn from those, and move forward. The Truth is incomplete without the experience of this journey.
